2008 Summer Card Classes

A Teelin Summer Card worth 4 classes may be purchased for $60 from the instructor at the class. No registration necessary! All classes are held at the Teelin studio in Columbia.

2008 Summer Card is valid June-August 2008 only. A student’s Summer Card will be punched for each class attended. One card per dancer. Card must be presented at the time of the class, or the drop-in fee must be paid. Students may “drop-in” to these classes for a rate of $17 per class.

Irish Dance Skills & Drills in July & August

Stay fit this summer, and be ready to start next year’s Irish classes on the right foot! These classes are supplements designed to help Teelin students retain and continue to develop their Irish dance skills. Soft Shoe classes held on Tuesdays; Hard Shoe classes held on Wednesdays. Levels are based on a student’s class level from the 2007-08 school year at Teelin. (If in doubt of which classes to attend, ask Maureen.)

Irish Dance Exercise Class for Adults

Stay fit while enjoying the fun of Irish dance as an adult dancer! This class is open to all skill levels for adult dancers.

Ballet Technique for Irish Dancers

This class offers an introduction to basic ballet in order to build strength, flexibility, and a general understanding of ballet technique. It will emphasize proper placement, use of stretched legs and feet, correct posture, and ballet fundamentals that will benefit any Irish dancer. (Instructor is ballerina Rebecca Friedman - guest artist from Portraits of Ireland!)
